Our Awards

Giving back to the community that has supported their businesses, Orchard Foods has built a corporate culture that encourages their employees to become involved in their community.

Every employee who works at one of the 12 stores supports the company’s efforts by volunteering, fundraising, and preparing meals for distribution. The combined efforts of their staff members total over 10,000 donated hours annually. Those volunteer hours have a net dollar impact equivalent to more than $225,000. When each new Orchard Group store holds its grand opening, a special project is developed specifically for the community in which the store is opening.

Since 1996, more than 27 school youth programs, foundations, and non-profit initiatives have been, and continue to be, supported by Orchard Group. A few examples are support for The Susan G. Komen Foundation, Boys and Girls Clubs, and a new teen center in Bremerton; providing food for teens at Mt. Zion church once a month, and supporting the Food Life Line which supplies local food banks.

Orchard Foods’ employees also serve on local boards of directors including: Boys & Girls Club, Admiral Theatre Foundation, Church Councils, & Youth Soccer, Football, & Baseball organizations.
